求婚季节

今年的十二月份是个好日子, 虽然经济低谜但有几位朋友纷纷收到惊喜~~求婚戒指~~ (当然不包括我们). 在此先向他们(Bee Hwee&Kai Ze; 表姐和未来表姐夫 & 慧秋&Ah Gee) 说声恭喜恭喜. 真心祝福你们幸福快乐!

不知为什么我喜欢收到祝福, 真心祝福对我来说很重要! 几年前,在宿舍, 屋友为了小事情而骂我, 跟我吵架, 还诅咒我考试不及格. 当时我听到这样的话非常的生气, 真是没礼貌, 没教养!!! 庆幸当时考试及格, 哈哈.. 希望可以气死那肥婆.

还有另外一个肥婆的故事, 每次回想起都很生气, 很心痛!!! 算了, 何必记着这些肥婆对我的伤害, 只会令自己不开心. 好好睡一觉, 笑笑没烦恼~~

Cerebos AD&D 2008

期待已久AD&D终于在昨天举行...

Door gift are... Digital photo frame, Berry Essence & 2009 calendar!

晚会开始之前有一些游戏让我们参与. 幸运的我竟然得到赛车第一名,哈哈... 真是意想不到我是冠军,奖品是Carrefour $30 voucher.

晚会的中段,我很不幸的被点上台玩游戏... 结果只得第二名, 奖品是... :-( (下图)

第一名的支持者竟然每人得到1GB MP3...

节目的尾声当然是少不了幸运抽奖. 当银幕播放100 to 16 lucky draw 名次时, 我有点失望, 我的名字不在名单里. 但同时我很庆幸因为我还有机会赢大奖.

最后...

我得第七名... 一架Sony Handycam...虽然不是大奖但我已心满意足.

我的公司-CPL

最近依然的忙碌,空闲时一定捉紧机会看港剧-珠光宝气和尖子攻略.

今天终于拿到公司sponsor的Nike跑步鞋for SCB Marathon purpose.

翻开衣橱才发现原来在这间公司半年,竟然得到六件衣和一套跑步装.

是不是很不可思议? 在这么不景气的日子但我的公司依然对员工照顾有加,非但没有裁员,减薪,被逼放假反而继续搞好接下来的两个大活动.

好庆幸自己加入了一间那么好的公司.

已经很久没有收到他送的花了!今天是什么大日子??

答案是:我们拍拖一週年纪念日.

谢谢他拿了一天的假陪我吃美味的午餐和逛街.

我是谁???

今天我参加了一个我不该去的Sales Conference.这个annual conference是由我的so called 'South Asia Department'举办的.By right,全部属于这dept的员工都应该要出席,但基于一些尘年往事,我这个属于SA dept的人却不report to SA's finance manager而report to group finance的人也出席.是不是很怪?是不是觉得很复杂?

今天很多人都问我为什么会出席?我唯有尴尬的笑.当时要不是那个秘书邀请我,打死我也不去.他们整个SA dept在12th floor,只有我一人在13th floor.因为这身份让我遇上一大堆的尴尬问题:-有些多嘴的同事会问为什么我还在楼上,没跟他们一起?;有时当我加入他们的活动时,其他同事会问我为什么要加入?;当有新同事加入时,无知的HR会特别的介绍我-'她是唯一一个属于SA dept但在13楼的同事',OMG多么令我难堪的介绍!

一个多月前,当SA's finance manager刚加入不久,已经有人想把我调回楼下,那manager并没有马上这么做因为她想做好基本工才把我调回去.当我知道这消息后,我有点不爽,我已经习惯在楼上的工作环境,随时随地要把我调去楼下,又要重新适应!唉!另一个不爽的原因是有人恨不得快点把我调去楼下.

有时觉得自己很可怜,在楼上已经没几个可以聊的来的同事,去到楼下不是更糟糕??好几次当同事聊起我的身份,我都装做没事,但有谁明了我感受???

至少今天我参与了有意义的conference还有lucky draw得到一盒燕窝!

休闲的一天

子建问我为什么最近都没有写blog,我说最近很忙很忙,忙到没有idea...
相比五个月前刚加入这公司,当时的我是多么的空闲,有空就会跟同事一起去打球,做运动...
现在呢??完全抽不出空,太忙了!三不五时要赶deadline!昨天总算赶完了.
昨天准时放工,向同事道别,大家都用很怪异+envy的眼神望我,
在我的部门,准时放工是件很希奇的事,我想可能是大家已经习惯了迟放工!!!
很无奈,就算是可以走 ,我也习惯性的多留一会儿,以免被别人说闲言闲语.

我想今天是最幸福的一天因为我竟然睡到一点半才起床!我已经很久没试过那么迟醒.
我的工作让我身心疲累,好想好想去日本旅行...种种的因素造成我原本下个月的日本之旅腰折.
不知几时才能实现.还有台湾,欧美等国家... 此外,我明年好想带爸妈出国旅行.他们不曾出国旅行,
以前奔坡劳碌,现在应该让他们享受.

我们近期的目标是存钱买家.渴望拥有属于自己的家.在自己的家爱怎样就怎样.不须象现在每天都躲在房间,一个小小的空间里.既然设下目标就要努力向前进...!

Visited Singapore Flyer again with my colleagues today.

Cerebos Charity Sales held on 16-17 Sep 08 at Nankin Mall, China Square Central, one of my company activity. I am one of the (afternnon session) ambassador. All the proceed will doneted to Strait Times School Pocket Money Fund.

Finally we able to rise $14,763.35 from these 2 days charity sales. This is a very meaningful event. Hopefully this fund can bring brighten to those children from low-income families.

Cerebos Active Day cum Fitness Test was happen on 19 September 2008 (Fri) at Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel, Promenaden. This was also one of my company annual activity.

As previous yrs, there were 2 fitness test options: 2.4km run / 2km walk. Definitely i will choose the former because can end the test faster, hehe... Finally i only able to get Bronze medal (under age 30) with 15:06 mins after 20 sec handicap.

After the prizes presentation, we had buffet dinner at the hotel.

Yesterday, one of my friend invited me to join Ex-Tarcian Mid Autumn Gathering at East Coast for bbq. I think we almost 2++ yrs never meet each other since we graduated from TAR College except those few close friends.

This gathering quite meaningful for me, if not i wont meet them even we all in Sg. Special thank you for Yan Ying, Ziling & all the less to organise & attend the gathering.

***Last Adventure Activity - The Flyer****

Our company wellness committee is proud to bring us 165m up from the ground with "The Singapore Flyer" as our last adventure activity for the year .

Counting Down

One more week to go Jakarta for Business Trip.

This trip will create a lot of 1st time:
1st business trip, working at oversea;
1st time take Singapore Airline;
1st time stay at hotel alone;
etc...

香港之旅-倒数第二天

等了大概两个月,终于倒数第二天.
两个月前突然看到一间廉价航空的promotion,
于是就付了钱订机票.
当时的心情是非常的兴奋,
期待再次出国旅行.

最近这三个星期工作繁忙,
完全没有兴致计划行程表,
反正没关系啦,他会安排一切,哈哈...

过了明天,最后忙碌的一天,
我会好好的收拾行李和心情去香港.

因为我想要的Coach bag终于到手了!

当然,不能太得意忘形而忘了感谢一个人,

Bintan 之旅

今年第一个出国旅行的地点是印尼的Bintan.
我们一行五人住在Bintan的五星级酒店-Angsana Resort & Spa,享受五星级的待遇.
环境优美,地点舒适;一个值得去的地方.
虽然只是短短的两天行程(14-15 Jun 08)但总算尽兴而归.

不守时的晚宴

上个星期六是我一个小学好朋友的大喜之日,既然她有邀请我,我当然赏脸的出席她的结婚晚宴.地点是在新山的The Zon Regancy Hotel.对于住在新加坡的我们来说是有点麻烦,需要漂洋过海到新山去.不过无所谓啦,反正一生人就只有一次.

哪个晚宴七点开始,于是当天我们大概五点就出门去新山.庆幸那天没塞车,我们不到七点就已经坐在里面等待.拨电话给住在新山的朋友,他们都还没到,唯有继续等待.

不久后我们被安排换去另一张桌子.又继续等待...朋友们终于陆续的出现了,那时已是八点钟,但主角还没出现.过了一会儿,又有接待员请我们换去另一张桌子,她说那里比较方便,可以看到舞台,唉,我们又再次换位子,其实那里也不算什么好位子,只不过是从最东边换去最西边而已!!!真是的,为什么偏偏要选中我们呢?!而且一连两次.最令我不爽的是,我已经等了足足两个小时,主角才进场,害我什么心情都没了...

Cerebos Beach Fiesta Celebration 2008

My company this year 'BIG' event is - Family Day Beach Fiesta Celebration on 14 June 08, Saturday @East Coast Park!

Highlights for the event are: Goodie Bags, Tele-matches, Fringe Activities, Children Fun Corner, Beachside BBQ, lucky draw prizes, game stalls and more !

There are 40 attractive prizes awaiting for staffs to grab such as: Sony Playstation 3, Travel Voucher, Sony Portable Playstation, Nokia N81 (8GB), Pioneer Home Theatre System, Digital camera, Dining Vouchers, Shopping Vouchers and etc...

I have no chance to grab those attractive prizes (too bad..) because i will be going to Bintan for holiday with him & his colleagues... So, no choice, have to wait another big event/activity!!!

Ice Skating Adventure Activity

Almost every month my company's wellness committees will organise Adventures / Social Leisure Activities for staffs to have fun & exciting time to bond with colleagues.

Yesterday we just had our 3rd Adventure Activity - lce Skating, details for the event:

Date : 10 June 08, Tuesday
Time : 5pm-7.30pm
Venue : Fuji Ice Palace @ Jurong Entertainment Centre

When i received the email (last month) regarding this activity, i am so excited because i never play before. So i decided to join in even non of my close colleagues was joined. The purpose to join this activity were to learn basic skills in ice skating and relax & cool down from the hot weather, the main point is -- it is FREE!!! I am sure i won't miss the chance to try this new adventure.

Ice skating is fun! It's thrilling, challenging , exciting, team building, and yes, 100% embarrassing - when i fall. And you will. But everybody falls, so don't sweat it! Just smile, pick myself up and keep moving. I'll be gliding like an eagle in no time (yes, maybe after training for few time..haha..).

空闲 : 忙碌

这个星期在工作和运动上有很大的差异,
工作-由于这个月的买卖比较少所以很空闲;
运动-由于工作少所以多了时间做运动.

这星期的运动表如下:
星期一: 放工后突然觉得很无聊,于是在家附近跑步.后来男友和WY都有兴趣打篮球,于是我也参与一份.
星期三: 今天是我第一次join company每逢星期三的badminton. 有参与的同事可以提早一个小时放工到附近的Kereta Ayer CC玩到六点半. 其实我的公司每天都有一项运动让员工参与,例如golf, badminton, jogging & pilates class.每当我们参与这些活动,公司会捐一些钱给某些慈善机构,运动时不忘做慈善,这公司真的,真的... 过后去会男友时,大家都兴致勃勃的想要打保龄球,结果我当天玩了两种球类.
星期五: 上个星期yoga class刚刚完毕,所以这是第一堂pilates class.最近我一直想要减肥所以每次有运动的机会我都不放过.
星期六: After看完电影,男友打保龄球的隐又起,于是我们又去玩保龄球.
星期日: 早上约了WY载我们一起去HZ的家学游泳.

总结-我这星期的确很忙碌的做运动.希望我的减肥计划能够成功.

Cerebos Annual Bowling Tournament 2008

TONIGHT is the Cerebos Annual Bowling Competition 2008! There is a total of 17 teams competing for the prizes. Each team consist of 3 bowlers. Details as follow:

Date: 22 May 2008, Thursday

Venue: SuperBowl @ Marina Square 3rd Level

Time: 5.20pm Gather at ground floor lobby
5.30pm Bus leaves China Square Central
5.50pm Registration and Buffet Dinner *
6.30pm Teams gather at respective lanes for warm up session
6.40pm Competition begins
8.45pm Results and Prize Presentation

*Dinner provided for Bowlers and Supporters.

Prizes: Champion Team: S$600 Cash Voucher
1st Runner Up Team: S$300 Cash Voucher
2nd Runner Up Team: S$150 Cash Voucher
Best Male & Female Bowler: S$100 Cash Voucher each
Turkey Strike Bowler: S$50 Cash Voucher (limit to one Turkey Strike Prize per bowler)

Note: 5 lucky draw prizes to be given away for the participating teams.

The most excited part for me is the results and prizes presatation. Hopefully i got the luck to win all the prizes and lucky draw as well! (I think i am too greedy, haha...)

新开始

不知不觉到新公司上班已有一个星期,
新工作,新环境再加新同事,
一切需要从新开始.
如我所愿,这间公事的福利非常好,
值得让我继续呆下去.

Coach Bag

Last two day, i took half day leave went to Orchard Road to do pre-employment medical check-up. I finished the check-up on 3.15pm, but only will meet my sister around 6.30pm (still long hours to go), seem nothing to do so just hang out around Orchard Road first.

I saw this bag when i shopping at Takashimaya Coach Boutique. I like it very much. Yesterday i purposely browse into Coach website searching for this bag, finally i found this photo. It cost S$609, in fact it only cost US$268. Walau!!!! Difference about S$200++, no worth to buy this brand at Singapore. Anyone if you are going to US remember inform me, help me buy it. If i buy it at US then i can save S$200++, quite a big sum. Hopefully i can own one on July.

充实的一周

这个星期除了星期一,我几乎每晚都外出大吃大喝.
星期二: 和diploma,四年没见的同学在Bugis聚会,聊天加晚餐;
星期三: 和diploma,刚来新加坡工作的好死党在Marina Square聊近况加晚餐;
星期四: 和男友还有他的几个好友在City Hall淡社会,工作,前途加晚餐;
星期五: 和同事去SGH探望刚动手术的同事;过后去看戏顺便边看戏边吃面包;
星期六: 早上和男友去JB办些事顺便在City Square的金加利享用海鲜大餐;
难怪一直瘦不下来,如何恢复45kg呢?

这个星期除了把自己养得胖胖之外,其实从中获益匪浅.
跟同学聚会让我回想一起上课,学习,玩乐的美好少年时光;
跟男友还有他好友的聚会让我了解社会,为前途努力前进;
探望刚动手术的同事让我领悟健康的宝贵,
所谓病向浅中医,千万不要等病发后才叹息当初的疏忽.
人生无常,变化多端,要记得活在当下,珍惜眼前所有!

终于决定放下

不知新同事容不容易相处
不知...一堆的未知数...

今天做了两个了结:
跟这公司结束宾主关系
多一个月后将重新开始

希望会是一个好的开始!
明天会更好~~

猎工作行动开始

前几天终于把重新update的resume发送出去
数一数,原来我在新加坡已有一年又八个月
这次我又要重新出发,重复找工的过程!
几间我有兴趣的公司刚好都没有适合的职位,唉!
有些事情是急不来的所以我在等待,
等待一份适合心头好的工作,唯有等待...

向钱看;向前走

最近一直在徘徊要不要换一份新工作,最好能够找到一份月薪高,福利好而且花红多的公司.但总觉得我好象在痴人说梦话,如果真的有那么好的公司也不可能轮到我吧!如果你们有好介绍记得告诉我噢!

有人建议我去尝试本地知名的大公司,我想我会在这几天行动吧!不要再浪费时间了!现今的社会太现实,没有钱真的万万不能,房租起,水电费起,食物,商品样样都起价,如果薪金没起那就惨了!把钱放在银行又不会增值,还是等找到新工作又有足够金钱的时候再做一些小投资吧!
